In early-2012, we were looking for a rugged, pocket size camera with good image quality for shooting on MTB trails. At that time, we considered several alternatives that we had found potentially interesting. We finally decided to go for Panasonic DMC-FT4, which turned out to be a big disappointment in terms of image quality.
When it comes to head protection, our philosophy is very simple: Seek the best possible protection, get the wallet out of the pocket and swallow the bill. As long time users of Arai’s flagship helmets in motorsports, our standards were high for our new DH / freeride helmet.
